Who we are

Imperium Worx Digital (Pty) Ltd operates as Business Ready ("we", "us"). We run the website listings.bussready.co.za, where businesses for sale are listed and buyers can enquire about them. We are the responsible party for the personal information described in this policy, as defined in the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect

We only collect what you give us when you use the site:

• Enquiry and access forms: your first name, surname, email address and mobile number, plus what you tell us about the business you are looking for, your timeline and how you plan to fund a purchase.
• Verification codes: when you ask for access to a listing, we email you a one time code to confirm your email address.
• Buyer alerts: your contact details and the type of business you want to hear about.
• Selling a business: the contact and business details you send us when you ask about selling.
• Technical data: basic server logs such as your IP address and browser type, kept for security and to keep the site working.

We do not use advertising trackers on this site.

Why we use it

• To respond to your enquiry and put you in touch with the broker handling the business.
• To confirm your identity before sharing listing details.
• To send you the buyer alerts you asked for.
• To keep the site secure and working properly.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry goes to the broker responsible for the business. We use service providers to run the site and manage leads, including our website host, our email provider and our customer relationship management (CRM) system. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We do not sell your personal information.

Business Ready is the online presence of a registered Aldes Business Broker. Where an enquiry relates to an Aldes mandate, the information may be shared with Aldes Business Brokers (Pty) Ltd to handle that mandate.

Facebook and LinkedIn

We publish articles and listing news on our Business Ready Facebook Page and on LinkedIn using a publishing tool. That tool only posts our content. It does not collect information about the people who view, like or comment on our posts. When you interact with our posts, Facebook or LinkedIn handles your information under their own privacy policies.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting transaction, and for as long as the law requires. After that we delete it or make it anonymous.

How we protect it

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to our systems. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may also object to us using your information, and you can stop buyer alerts at any time. To do any of this, email us at the address below. If you believe we have not handled your information properly, you can complain to the Information Regulator at inforegulator.org.za.
